Last Sunday Service of the Year

Last Sunday Service of the Year

Today's service (December 29th) will be the last Sunday service of 2024. Today is the last Sunday service, but it is not limited to Sundays.  It can be any day of the week or at any time. It can be every day. Our church gathers together to worship on the day of the Lord's resurrection.

When we meet together to break bread on the first day of the week (Acts 20:7),

everyone should always put aside something according to their income on the first day of the week, so that the collection will not be made until I arrive (1 Corinthians 16:2). The Sabbath falls on Saturday. The first day of the week is the day after the Sabbath, which falls on Sunday.

Some churches still worship on the Sabbath, Saturday.  Paul and Barnabas left Perge and arrived at Antioch in Pisidia. And on Sabbath he went into the synagogue and sat down. (Acts 13:14)

As was his custom, Paul went into the place where the Jews were gathered, and for three Sabbaths he cited the Scriptures and debated with them. (Acts 17:2)

Our church gathers for weekly on Sundays, the day of the Lord's resurrection according to the Bible and the history of the founding of the Christian church and we think it is important that we gather together to worship.

Next year's first worship service will be on January 1st. We will start the year with a New Year's Day service. (Pastor)
