Christmas is a famous Christian festival. The city is filled with Christmas lights, Christmas trees, Christmas songs, and sales of Christmas goods to liven up the Christmas season.

This year, Advent starts from next Sunday (December 1st) until Christmas.

Advent is translated as "Advent" and refers to the four weeks before Christmas.

Advent means "coming" in Latin, and expresses the promise and expectation of Christ's coming (birth) as well as the second coming of Christ.

Some people say that Jesus' birthday was not actually December 25th. The odds of Jesus being born on December 25th is 1 out of 365 days.  Since Jesus was a real person, there is no doubt that he was born sometime during the 365 days of the year.

In the first place, unless you were of noble birth with records - and even if you were, I don't think you would know the exact date - there is no way to know the exact birthday of someone who lived more than 2000 years ago.  However, this does not deny that he was a real person, nor does it deny that he is the Christ (Messiah/Savior).  There is a reason why his birthday is December 25th.

Our church is planning Christmas events, a Christmas market, a Christmas service, and a Christmas candlelight service.   For details, please see our Christmas flyer and website.  Please let your family and friends know about this.
