A True worship is worshiping the living God

A True worship is worshiping the living God

I have read N. T. Wright's book "What it Means to be a Christian" and am writing about what it suggests. I have thought about worship a few times.  Wright teaches that when thinking about worship, the clue Revelation chapters 4 and 5.

"It is a roar of praise from the creatures, who recognize their Maker and realize the victory of the Lamb, to God the Creator and Savior. This is the worship that is always taking place in heaven, where God is." Worship comes from true joy and gratitude. Forcing people to worship out of fear under some dictators, is not true worship.

On the page for Isaiah chapter 1 in "One Chapter a Day in the Old Testament" by Enomoto Yasuo, it is written, in verses 10-17, Isaiah speaks the words of God, saying that God dislikes things like prayer, worship, and offerings. The fact that God had to say such things shows that people at the time thought that these acts were faith.

In contrast, Isaiah emphasized that faith is not tangible nor concrete, faith is the feeling of freshness, faith is always restored before God and our relationship with the living God."  Let us not forget that our God we worship is alive and continues to love and interact with us. (Pastor)
