What is a true God(2)

What is a true God?

There are myriads of gods, I think Japanese generally think of kami (god) as being inhabited by all things.  Nature is worshiped as god, such as the god of the mountains and the sea. Also, statues made of wood, stone, metal are worshipped as gods.

When we look at these statues, we are sometimes told that they have kind faces, but that is because the creators made them with such faces, and the gods that dwell in them are said to have such gentle faces.  People who die are also worshipped as gods.

The God that Christianity teaches is the only God who created everything that exists (heaven and earth). He is the "Creator".  It was from Him that the existence of everything began.

Then, a simple question as who created that “Creator” might rise.  This becomes an never ending question. Everything started with "the only creator God".

There are no idol gods in the world, no gods but one God...  For us there is only one God, the Father, from whom all things go, and to whom we return. (1 Corinthians 8:4)   Pastor
