Evangelism

Evangelism means "to show the way”.  Before the name Christianity was used, Christianity was called "the way".  It is written in the Acts of the Apostles,

Acts 9:2, 19:23, 22:4, 24:22, etc.

The Bible frequently uses the word, preaching, as written in Matthew 4:17, Mark 3:14.  It is used to preach the gospel, preach the kingdom of God and to preach the doctrine.

In order to evangelize, the cult says, "If you don't evangelize, you will go to hell” or “Your family will not be saved.”  Our evangelism is not like that. Evangelism is done out of gratitude and joy.

Yasuro Enomoto's (Japanese pastor) writes, "When we evangelize, it is not the method that matters.  We must be full of joy to evangelize.  We share the joy. Only then true evangelism starts.  It is not something that is forced by others.”   (Pastor)
