Ayako Miura Book Club

Today is the last day of the exhibition of Tomihiro Hoshino's poetry and paintings. Tomihiro Hoshino's lecture DVD "A Moment to Meet Kindness" was played in the church hall after last week's service.  A 5-minute story about him was also played during this lecture. 

During Tomihiro Hoshino's hospitalization, he was encouraged which led him to Christianity.  What led him to Christ were Ayako Miura's novels, "Shiokari Pass", "Michi Ariki", and "While there is light".  At Funabashi Church, we hold a monthly Ayako Miura Book Club where we read together her works.  Currently we are reading "Muzzle" and plan to complete by March 2023.

We have read various novels so far and from next year (April 2023), we will pick another novel. If there is a book you which you would like to read, please let me know and please join our club.
